Fewer people driving cars, more people riding bikes.
That’s the sentiment behind bike share programs in more than 300 cities worldwide.
Doug Carpenter of Doug Carpenter & Associates LLC is spearheading the effort to start a bike share program in Memphis.
To that end, a series of community input sessions will be held starting with a 6:30 p.m. meeting Thursday, June 4, at Revolutions Bicycle Co-Op, in the First Congregational Church at 1000 S. Cooper St. in Cooper-Young.
